What shaped me as a designer:

About a month after the world shut down in 2020, I was lucky to find my last role at Stanford University.

As the sole designer on a small School of Medicine team, I learned to design with limited resources, unclear problems, and fast, real-world feedback.

I realized my strength lies in turning ambiguity into clarity. I’m at my best when I’m deep in research, mapping systems, asking hard questions, and translating abstract ideas into concrete steps. That’s where I find flow.

I enjoy visual design as well. It often helps my ideas get noticed, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised to hear it’s one of the things people associate most with my work.

I do my best work in teams that value openness, trust, and autonomy, where people respect each other’s time, take ownership, and give credit where it’s due.
